Photo to statue, made in Hyderabad
Send us a photo and we will turn it into a hand-painted 3D printed bust. This is the most involved piece we make, and the one people keep.
A photo bust is a sculpture of a person's head and shoulders, printed from a photo you send, then painted by hand. It is the piece customers ask about most and the one that takes the longest to get right.
Our custom photo bust is priced at ₹3,499. We are open every day, 8 AM to 10 PM and you can start the conversation on WhatsApp with a photo.
The size range
Our photo busts run from 10 cm keepsakes up to 50 cm centrepieces. The published price of ₹3,499 is for the standard size; anything at the larger end takes materially more print time and more hand painting, so tell us the size you have in mind and we will quote it specifically rather than guessing on your behalf.
As a rule, smaller sizes suit a shelf or a desk, and the larger end suits a mantelpiece or a display piece where the detail can actually be read from a distance.
What makes a good source photo
- A clear, front-facing or near-front photo of the face
- Even lighting, so the features are not lost in shadow
- Sharp focus on the face rather than the background
- No sunglasses or heavy filters, because both hide the structure the print depends on
- A few angles if you have them, which helps us get the profile right
Timeline and finish
Expect this to take longer than our standard pieces. The print itself is only part of it; the hand painting is what turns a print into something worth keeping, and it cannot be rushed.
FDM printing leaves visible layer lines. On a bust, the paint and finish work is what manages that. We will be honest with you about what the finished surface will look like before you commit, rather than after.
